Breaking the Mold without Forgetting the Old

Dad, I’m here and it is clear
That my fear will draw You near
How far and high
My sadness will fly
How big can my faith be
Even though I can’t see
I will know You love even me
But I still cry, Dad how and why?

He says, “you are a child of mine”
It is fine trust me and shine
You will be great in my kingdom
Sing some bring some Win some
Pain will gain you your new call
Train your eyes to see beyond the wall
See us as your Dad
The most wonderful parents you’ve ever had
See beyond the damned up pond that when removed
You will flow and annointed you will go
You will reap and sow
And you will grow
You asked and you receive
You trust and believe
My will is done
For you my son
The fight hasn’t started
And you’ve already won
Just claim the same victory
That you see in your family history
Jesus died and rose again
And my son, my friend
You too will rise
With new eyes
Of faith and healing
A new feeling
The world will know
And you will show the glory
Of my Son’s life story
Be faithful and strong
For it is not long
Until you are not just restored
But forged brand new
Of gold and precious stones
Bones of granite
You have it.
You are my son
And to you I say well done
